Grant Central Pizza East in Atlanta

We randomly found the sweet spot after doing a late night yoga class. The pizza was delicious. I got two veggies slices and the slices were as big as my head; I'm exaggerating a bit. I also had the best mascato of my life. It was on the sweeter-sweetest side which is talking my language. We sat outside, which was great to people watch the club life next door. The severs were friendly and very helpful. I also had the cheesecake, which again was phenomenal. Can't wait to return.

I always get courteous service here. The atmosphere is open, spacious and intimately private all at the same time. The music is always pleasant which makes the food taste that much more awesome. I always look at the local band posters on the wall in the rear before grabbing a Creative Loafing and ordering. If I bring my child, I keep some quarters ready for the games we'll inevitably play.The pizza slices are huge! Their lasagna is amazing! They also have beer and wine for the 21+ crowd. DO NOT FORGET to order a slice of cheesecake. The flavors change, but the top notch quality doesn't waver.

Food was absolutely wonderful great temperature the waiter Toni was very attentive i even had the manager come over and see if everything was good for me

I have visited this place for quite some time now. But the last couple of visits weren’t pleasant at all and I noticed the prejudice in this place VERY HEAVILY!! From the front counter to the cook! My advice to you all is to not get too cute and let it show that heavily because it’s not a good look and you’re not as good as your competitors!!!!

Always amazing!! We have been eating here for 21 years and we love it! Everything screams yummy!!!! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Counter order, great beer selection, take out is available, specials everyday and always different! Great East Atlanta location (parking is available but you may have to roll around the block) lots of new places in the area

Ok,Soooo do not sit down without oRdering at the counter first..Then seat yourself... Of coarse like always Hubby and I order like we are tourist....But it’s just so good,We must have some to take with us🤗🤗🤗🤗😋I love this place....we come on our cheat days...DELICIOUS!!!

Great place to stop by and order by the slice. The staff there was great, and it has a large dining area. The pricing is very affordable and they even offer Sicilian slices. I've only been once, and the pizza was great but not something I would go out of my for. If you love pizza, give it a shot.

Finally found a pizza restaurant where the dough actually rises. Pie was large enough that it couldn’t be consumed by 2 hungry guys at 8PM on a Friday night. Also liked the fact it was quiet, no screaming children running around while the parents stuff their faces. I’ll definitely go back!

Great place, they have some terrible customers though. I’ve sat there many times waiting for my delicious food and felt my heart wrench watching the employees working hard only to have someone come up and berate them with unwarranted complaints. The customers should try the service industry out and see how well they can handle it. This place has a small kitchen, if you want quick food on a busy night then drive down the street to McDonald’s.

The pizza was extremely thin, like 'Extremely Thin'. Almosf But other then that it was alright sauce is decent. I mean that the pizza tasted legit. But, the fact of bugs also flying around.

Delicious fresh pizza and the service was great!

Thank God for this Pizzeria they have other varieties of food like cheese cake lasagna, even spaghetti and meatballs ,everything is served fresh and the tomato sauce is so hardy I would recommend this Pizzeria to anyone.

I purchased a slice of sausage, pepperoni, and mushroom. It was horrible, I don't like it when you pre cook slices of pizza. Then add toppings and cook again. Part of the bread (top crust, sides) was hard the center was a soggy mess. I fell sick, the mushrooms were not fresh, removed those off. Someone purchased this for me, I will never come back. I'm sorry that their money was wasted on your pizza👎😵.

I am a resident of East Atlanta and have lived there for 20 years, all of which I have enjoyed Grant Central Pizza. I want to say that yesterday I ordered my first post-Covid pizza (or any restaurant food). It was, by far, the best pizza I have had since being a little girl living in Brooklyn! Thanks Grant Central for being a staple in the neighborhood! I support Local businesses and will continue to share the word with my circle.

Great pizza. Large portion size for a slice. Its was like 3 slices on my veggie pizza. Service was nice. Maybe a better system on who's order is who's. But the food was fresh and flavorful.

Cool little pizza joint in East Atlanta! Amazing pizza and pasta dishes. Love the eclectic feel of the place. Super cool to hang with friends, grab a slice, and drink a beer!

The customer service is beyond despicable, I've eaten at this location for over 10 years and my goodness has the level of care in preparing your food changed. Be sure to open your pizza box because the "manager" Kris will blame you for your burnt pizza. I'm extremely disappointed and disgraced at the pizza boy and "manager" of 15 years Kris.

Came around 11pm on a Friday and the place was dead compared to its neighbors. Guess it was bar time for everyone by then, which makes this a perfect spot in EAV for having an actual conversation with friends.Cheap slices, decent selection of beer and fast service. I will say the individual slices were not as good as the whole pizza someone in my party ordered. The slices seemed less cooked and not as crisp. I'd definitely go back, but only for a whole pie.

Fantastic! We ate there once and I'm sold. Easy going atmosphere and awesome gourmet pizza, and for about what I normally pay for some corporate pizza out of a can. A must try in ATL

Pizza is good (best in area) but the staff is always lacking. Cooks always get the order right, but order is frequently taken wrong. Got to see the manager get drunk and fight his own employee during PBR fest a few years back, so that’s a plus? I usually just drive the extra few miles to the Cherokee Ave location. Those guys are on point. Wish this location could get it together since it’s closer for me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

DO NOT ORDER FROM BRINGMETHAT, Grant's will not honor the order. I had used it before in early 2020 with no problem, but there appears to be a dispute between the two businesses.I ordered online for pickup, when I went to Grant's they claimed it's just a scam and they've never worked together, but I had used the website successfully before back in April 2020 to make an order and pickup from the restaurant (screenshot attached). I showed the cashier, she could have been more polite about informing us but she was rude and rushed in dismissing us. We like to support this local business but this really rubbed us the wrong way since they were not being straightforward.Now I have to dispute the charges on my credit card with out much help from Grant's.

The less toppings the better you'll be able to enjoy the basic ingredients. Do not miss!!

Single slice is way bigger than I thought. Excellent flavors and they do not skimp out in toppings. Not many choices for drinks but you can go anywhere else in EAV for that.

I just got a simple slice of pizza haven't had pizza And about a couple of months. time since I can't have cheese. This definitely did the trick.

Pizza was mediocre, didn't have enough tomato sauce, crust was too dry. The service is the main reason for a lower rating. It's usually 30 minutes for a large pizza. I came early and my pizza needed 10 more minutes, and I was told they'll yell my name when ready. I saw 3 pizzas boxed up and sitting there for 20 minutes without the cashier lady looking at them. #smh #facepalmEAV doesn't have much good eats. Instead go to JD's grocery store near summerhill for Jamaican jerk chicken

Good pizza in a non hipster setting. Not wood fired or anything else, just plain good ingredients and crust. I've never had to wait longer than 20 minutes for any pie I order!

Thoroughly surprised by this pizzeria. I ordered the Super, by the slice, which turned out to be a tasty two person meal. Definitely got my monies worth for the slice size and healthy portion of toppings. Service was good and timely, though it wasn't crowded during the later lunch hours. Soda seemed a little weak and the sweet tea tasted like it was over brewed or stale. Seems like a super chill spot with room for small or larger parties.

My first and not my last time. My slice of pizza was so good!!!! I will be back...

The lady working the register was unprofessional. On 5/29/2020 at 7pm I place an order over the phone. Upon arrival it was a line to enter the store. Phone in hand(not to my ear) to use samsung pay. She help another guest before me for that reason.

Red head at the register was very rude. We came in with a party of 5 and she refused service 10 minutes before closing because they were “sold out of everything, what about that don’t you understand.” As someone who is a loyal customer to the restaurant and always recommended it to friends and family, I am so extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

First time here, was a little confused when we walked in. Didn’t know to seat ourselves or wait for waitstaff. It has a cool eclectic vibe and the pizza is okay. The staff behind the counter does seem a little checked out. Good place to come and grab a quick bite.
